The day began in the luxury apartments of the Hotel Villa e Palazzo Aminta. We knew this wedding was going to be memorable.
Esmeralda and Mattia came to Italy from London to get married in a baroque style hotel in one of the most beautiful places on Lake Maggiore. They visited Stresa and the lake on their first trip together and celebrated their seven months together. It was exactly 6 years ago in this place. They have been together for 6 years, growing together, living together and waiting for the perfect time. And that moment has come. We met Esme in the hotel room. She opened the door dressed as a bride and we were impressed by her calm and the simplicity with which she excitedly told us about her expectations for the day that was about to begin. There was a spectacular and unique view from the terrace.

One of our favorite moments at this wedding was the first sight, which was held in a historic church in Stresa. It was like straight out of a movie: tender gestures, loving eyes and gently whispered words. The wedding ceremony in Italy church was really touching and the speeches made us laugh and brought some happy tears. What a day!
It was raining but that weather didn't stop us from having an epic day! We always tell our couples to never rely on the weather and if it rains we will still have an amazing day and the photos will look amazing as long as you keep smiling. The atmosphere was really great and it really shows in all the pictures.
We took a cruise on the Maggiore lake with a vintage boat. This allowed us to feel immediately glamorous and enjoy the lake and many historic villas on its shores. During the boat trip we took some of our favorite pictures. The couple looked so beautiful with the stunning Maggiore lake's background behind. The party was one of the highlights of the this Italy wedding. All the guests absolutely smashed it and kept the energy going all evening. We loved the energy and the happy video we had throughout the wedding.
Happy tears, lots of hugs, laughs and a party until midnight. The day was as perfect as if it had been written for a movie.
